I am new, so sorry for this simple question, but please explain it to me!
So for example in a NBA game its half time Team A is 50 pts Team B is 45 pts... to bet on the 2nd half of the game, lets just say the spread is -2 for Team A, so they have to win by 8 pts? I am confused and the ML as well.. does it mean that whatever happened in the first half doesn't count and its a clean slate or if Team B scores 50 in 2nd half and Team A scores 48, Team B would win the ML for the 2nd?

also on most sites overtime is included in the second half if the game should go into ot. Hope this helps.
